ABOUT 7Hz RECORDINGS

Launched in 2006 7Hz Recordings is the brainchild of FKP Scorpio, one of Germany’s biggest live music promoters, who had the bold idea of creating a pan-European music distribution and performing platform on which artists could develop and flourish. Centred on fully serviced HQ’s in Hamburg (G/S/A distribution via Rough Trade) and London (UK/Eire distribution via Vital), staffed by experienced industry professionals, with licensing and distribution deals being struck throughout the other European territories, 7Hz Recordings are looking to acquire licensed music as well as developing their own direct signings and are aiming to build a unique roster of artists with integrity, talent and an independent outlook. The company’s artist signing criteria is very straightforward –they must have great songs and be excellent live! Offering expertise in both the recording industry and live music sector 7Hz will provide the very best long-term development strategy for new music on the European stage.

7Hz also incorporates a music publishing company through which artists will be nurtured, and a digital music platform is available to help support new releases.
